Who is responsible for your information

Bianca's Kitchen Catering is the data controller for information collected through this website and through your enquiries. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

Information we collect

• Contact and event information you send, such as your name, email address, phone number, event type, catering location or postcode, approximate date, guest numbers and message.
• Correspondence and booking information created while discussing or delivering your catering.
• Limited technical and performance information collected through security tools and Cloudflare Web Analytics, as described below.

Please do not send detailed medical information through the initial enquiry form. If allergy or health information is needed to cater safely, we will explain what is needed and use it only for that purpose.

Why we use it

We use personal information to:

• reply to enquiries, prepare quotes and take steps towards a booking;
• manage and deliver booked catering services;
• keep appropriate business, tax and accounting records;
• protect the website and enquiry form from spam or misuse; and
• understand, in broad terms, how the website is used and improve it.

The relevant legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in running and securing the business. Where consent is the appropriate basis, you may withdraw it at any time.

Website analytics and storage

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and website performance in broad terms. Its small performance beacon does not use cookies or local storage, does not follow people across websites, and does not fingerprint individual visitors. Google Analytics is not loaded by this website.

Because the analytics service does not store or read information on your device for analytics, this site does not show a cookie banner or need to save an analytics preference in your browser. Cloudflare also provides the hosting, security and spam-protection services used by this website.

Service providers and other websites

We use service providers to host and secure the site, process the enquiry form, deliver email and provide analytics. These include Cloudflare, Brevo (for enquiry email delivery) and Microsoft. They process information under their own terms and, where relevant, our arrangements with them. Information may be processed outside the UK using the safeguards required by data protection law.

If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp or follow links to Facebook or Instagram, those services receive information under their own privacy policies. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as it is needed. Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last contact. Booking, invoice and accounting records may be kept for up to six years where needed for legal, tax or business-record purposes. Security and analytics information is kept according to the relevant service settings and is reviewed periodically.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us first at [email protected] if you would like us to help.

We may update this notice when the website or the way we handle information changes. The latest version will always appear on this page.
